Sagittarius A* Tanka X1.0 shows a black platform with nine Tanka poetry lines cut out of red acrylic and arranged in vertical position so that they all attach to the black platform. The two Tanka poems share the same middle line so that they form an X shape. At the point they attach to black platform, there is an audio button which when pressed reads aloud the Tanka poetry line. This art work is designed to be tactile. Sagittarius A* is the name of the black hole at center of out galaxy and since science tells us that information in the Universe is never lost, just changed in form, this piece suggests that poetry once read doesn't disappear and possibly can be stored on the surface of a black hole to retrieve in the future when poem is again read
